CVE-2026-41716 is a high-severity denial-of-service vulnerability in Spring Data Commons web support. An internal property-lookup cache accepts property-name strings originating from an attacker and permanently retains them as cache keys, including negative lookup results. Repeated requests containing distinct property names can grow the cache without bound and exhaust the application heap. The issue affects applications that pass HTTP-supplied property names to PropertyPath.from without filtering, including Querydsl web bindings using QuerydslPredicateArgumentResolver with its default permit-all visibility and @ProjectedPayload form-parameter binding through MapDataBinder. Spring Data Commons versions 2.7.0 through 2.7.19, 3.3.0 through 3.3.16, 3.4.0 through 3.4.14, 3.5.0 through 3.5.11, and 4.0.0 through 4.0.5 are affected; Spring Data store modules may be affected transitively.
