CVE-2026-41949 affects Dify before version 1.14.2 (including 1.14.1 and prior). The vulnerability is an authorization bypass in the document file preview endpoint, /console/api/files/{file_id}/preview. The endpoint verifies that the referenced object is a Document but does not enforce ownership, tenant, or workspace permission checks before returning preview data. As a result, any authenticated user who knows or can obtain a valid file UUID can request preview content for documents uploaded by other users, workspaces, or tenants. The exposed response is limited to approximately 3,000 characters of the target document, but this is sufficient to disclose sensitive content from uploaded files.
