CVE-2026-42016 is an authorization vulnerability in self-hosted JFrog Artifactory versions earlier than 7.133.11. Artifactory validates a presented token's signature and issuer during token processing but does not correctly enforce the token's authorized scope. A holder of a valid low-privilege token can abuse the token-creation functionality to obtain a token with administrator scope.
