CVE-2026-43051 is an out-of-bounds read in the Linux kernel Wacom HID driver’s Bluetooth report handler, wacom_intuos_bt_irq(). The handler processed undersized Bluetooth HID reports without validating that sufficient data was present before copying report fields into the Wacom device structure. Report type 0x03 requires at least 22 bytes; report type 0x04, which falls through to the type 0x03 processing path, requires at least 32 bytes. A crafted short report can therefore cause the kernel to read past the received report buffer. The fix adds explicit per-report length validation and emits a warning for short reports.
