CVE-2026-43125 is an out-of-bounds write vulnerability in the Linux kernel Distributed Lock Manager (DLM). A resource-name length originating from a DLM network message is passed through dlm_dump_rsb_name() without validation. If the supplied length exceeds DLM_RESNAME_MAXLEN, dlm_search_rsb_tree() can write beyond the bounds of its destination buffer. The fix validates the length before it is used, preventing the buffer overflow condition.
