CVE-2026-4454 is a high-severity use-after-free vulnerability in the Network component of Google Chrome. In affected versions prior to 146.0.7680.153, a remote attacker could trigger a memory safety flaw by causing the browser to process a crafted HTML page. The defect can lead to heap corruption after previously freed memory is reused, creating conditions that may be exploitable for further compromise. Google classified the issue as High severity within Chromium.
