CVE-2026-4461 is a high-severity vulnerability in the V8 JavaScript engine used by Google Chrome. The issue is described as an inappropriate implementation flaw in V8 affecting Chrome versions prior to 146.0.7680.153. A remote attacker can trigger heap corruption by causing a target to process a crafted HTML page. As a browser-side memory corruption issue in V8, the flaw is reachable through web content and may be exploitable without authentication when a user visits attacker-controlled content.
