CVE-2026-4462 is a high-severity out-of-bounds read vulnerability in Blink, the rendering engine used by Google Chrome and Chromium-based browsers. In affected versions of Google Chrome prior to 146.0.7680.153, a remote attacker could trigger an out-of-bounds memory read by causing a target to load a crafted HTML page. The flaw allows memory to be read outside the intended bounds of an object or buffer within Blink during page processing, creating an information disclosure condition and potentially destabilizing the browser process.
