CVE-2026-48136 is an improper access control vulnerability in Check Point Multi-Domain Management when Compliance is enabled. An authenticated administrator who has read-write access to one Management Domain (CMA) can modify stored metadata associated with Compliance Best Practices in a different Management Domain where that administrator does not have permissions. The flaw results in a bypass of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) boundaries between management domains, allowing unauthorized cross-domain modification of compliance-related metadata.
