CVE-2026-48359 is a critical XML External Entity (XXE) vulnerability in Adobe Experience Manager caused by improper restriction of XML external entity references. The issue affects Adobe Experience Manager as a Cloud Service up to and including version 2026.5.0, Adobe Experience Manager 6.5 LTS up to and including SP1, and Adobe Experience Manager 6.5 up to and including 6.5.24. Successful exploitation can occur over the network by a low-privileged attacker without user interaction. Adobe states that the flaw can result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. The vulnerability also permits reading sensitive files through XXE processing and may enable compromise of the victim's account or session. The CVSS v3.1 vector is AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:N, indicating changed scope and high confidentiality and integrity impact.
