CVE-2026-48362 is a critical operating system command injection vulnerability in Adobe ColdFusion. The flaw is caused by improper neutralization of special elements used in an OS command, allowing attacker-controlled input to reach OS command execution logic without adequate sanitization. A remote, unauthenticated attacker can exploit the issue against a vulnerable ColdFusion server without user interaction and achieve arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. The vulnerability has a changed scope and is rated CVSS 10.0. Affected releases include ColdFusion 2025.0.11 and earlier and ColdFusion 2023.0.22 and earlier. Fixed versions are ColdFusion 2025.0.12 and ColdFusion 2023.0.23.
