CVE-2026-5286 is a high-severity use-after-free vulnerability in Dawn, the Chromium/Chrome graphics component used for WebGPU functionality. It affects Google Chrome versions prior to 146.0.7680.178. The flaw can be triggered by a remote attacker through a crafted HTML page, leading to memory corruption when freed objects in Dawn are subsequently accessed. Successful exploitation may result in arbitrary code execution within the browser context.
