CVE-2026-53366 is a heap out-of-bounds write in the Linux kernel IPv4 UDP corking path, in __ip_append_data(). On the paged-allocation path used with MSG_SPLICE_PAGES, fraggap is included in datalen but omitted from alloclen. The kernel consequently allocates an undersized linear area while overstating pagedlen. When a corked datagram crosses a fragment boundary, fraggap bytes copied into the new skb linear area can overwrite adjacent skb_shared_info memory. The correction accounts for fraggap in alloclen and removes it from pagedlen.
