CVE-2026-53415 is a high-severity use-after-free vulnerability in the annotator function of Zoom Clients. The flaw affects Zoom’s annotation feature used during meetings and screen sharing, where participants exchange annotation-related data over the network. Improper lifetime management of memory in the annotator component can result in access to freed memory, leading to memory corruption. Under attacker-controlled conditions, a malicious meeting participant may be able to trigger the vulnerable state remotely against another participant. Successful exploitation could result in remote code execution on the target client.
