CVE-2026-54052 is a critical authorization flaw in n8n-MCP affecting versions prior to 2.56.1. In HTTP deployments where multi-tenancy is enabled with ENABLE_MULTI_TENANT=true, local workflow version history backups were not isolated on a per-tenant basis. As a result, an authenticated tenant could access workflow version snapshots belonging to other tenants and could also delete or destroy other tenants’ stored backups. Exposed backup contents could include workflow snapshots, full node definitions, credential references, and authorization headers. The issue is a cross-tenant access control failure in backup storage and retrieval logic within the workflow version history feature.
