CVE-2026-55390 is an arbitrary local file read vulnerability in datamodel-code-generator affecting versions 0.59.0 through 0.61.x when processing XML Schema input with --input-file-type xmlschema. The flaw resides in XML Schema parsing logic in src/datamodel_code_generator/parser/xmlschema.py, where xs:include, xs:import, xs:redefine, and xs:override schemaLocation values are resolved outside the intended input base path. By supplying a crafted XSD containing traversal or otherwise out-of-scope schemaLocation references, an attacker can cause the generator to read arbitrary local files and incorporate their contents into generated Python models or related output. The issue was fixed in version 0.62.0 by rejecting schemaLocation targets that resolve outside the input base path.
