CVE-2026-56271 is a critical authentication bypass vulnerability in Flowise affecting versions prior to 3.1.0, including 3.0.13 and earlier. The flaw resides in the enterprise passport authentication middleware, where JWT signing secrets and token validation parameters are sourced from environment variables but silently fall back to hardcoded default values when those variables are unset. Specifically, the middleware accepts predictable built-in defaults for the authentication token secret, refresh token secret, audience, and issuer instead of failing securely. Because these values are publicly known and static, a remote attacker can generate forged JWTs that satisfy the application's verification logic and impersonate arbitrary users, including administrators. The vulnerable logic is located in the enterprise passport middleware implementation under packages/server/src/enterprise/middleware/passport/index.ts.
