CVE-2026-57310 is a weak password storage vulnerability in JCD Windu CMS, confirmed in version 4.1. The application stores user passwords using a hashing scheme based on MD5 and SHA1 combined with a static salt. Because these algorithms are computationally weak for password storage and the salt is not unique per password, stored hashes are significantly more susceptible to offline cracking and credential recovery if an attacker gains access to the password database or other hash-bearing storage.
