CVE-2026-5773 is an incorrect SMB(S) connection-reuse vulnerability in libcurl's connection pool. A logical error can cause a new transfer to reuse an existing SMB connection to the same server even when that connection is associated with a different SMB share. The transfer consequently executes against the connection context for the wrong share, despite using the same server name and credentials.
