CVE-2026-58093 is a use-after-free race condition in the FreeBSD kernel tty subsystem's TIOCSCTTY ioctl handler. The handler releases the tty lock while acquiring the process-tree lock. Upon reacquiring the tty lock, it fails to revalidate terminal state and can link a terminal undergoing concurrent destruction to the calling process session.
