CVE-2026-58115 is a critical missing-authentication vulnerability affecting Siemens SIMATIC IoT2050 Advanced devices, including Advanced and Advanced PG variants, when running Industrial OS with Node-RED installed. In affected versions prior to V4.3.4.1, the Node-RED HTTP interface does not enforce authentication for access to programming functionality. As a result, an unauthenticated remote attacker can interact with flow-management functionality and create or deploy malicious Node-RED flows that invoke nodes capable of executing operating system commands on the underlying device. Because the vulnerable service runs with maximum privileges by default in the described deployment, successful exploitation results in arbitrary code execution on the gateway with root-level privileges.
