CVE-2026-59842 is an out-of-bounds heap-read vulnerability in libssh's server-side GSSAPI key-exchange handling. A client can supply a Curve25519 public key shorter than the expected length; libssh copies or processes it without adequate length validation, causing a read beyond the allocated heap buffer. The flaw can expose small portions of server-process memory to an unauthenticated remote client.
