CVE-2026-59843 is a denial-of-service vulnerability in libssh. A remote authenticated SSH peer can advertise a maximum channel packet size of zero in an SSH_MSG_CHANNEL_OPEN message. If the implementation later attempts to write data to that channel, the zero packet-size condition can cause the channel write logic to loop indefinitely instead of making forward progress or rejecting the invalid state. This results in unbounded CPU consumption by the affected process and can render the application or service unavailable.
