CVE-2026-60082 is an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the Perl DBI distribution affecting versions before 1.651. DBI does not properly enforce consistency between a statement handle's field metadata and the associated row data. When a statement handle contains no fields but the source row is non-empty, an internal row-buffer helper can read from a negative array index. The issue can be triggered by a caller supplying inconsistent metadata and row content to the prepare method, resulting in invalid memory access during statement processing.
