CVE-2026-63074 is an unbounded resource-allocation vulnerability in OpenSSL Certificate Management Protocol (CMP) processing. When a CMP server receives a message containing additional certificates and rejects that message, the certificates added from the message remain in the OSSL_CMP_CTX untrusted-certificate stack. A server that reuses a long-lived OSSL_CMP_CTX consequently retains these certificates rather than removing them. Repeated rejected requests containing distinct additional certificates can cause the cache to grow without bound.
