CVE-2026-63794 is an out-of-bounds write vulnerability in the Linux kernel's KVM AMD SVM code, specifically in the SEV debug encryption path handled by sev_dbg_crypt(). During per-iteration processing, the transfer length is bounded by the source page offset but not by the destination page offset. When the destination offset exceeds the source offset, the ENCRYPT path uses a single-page intermediate destination buffer and can expand the effective write size to round up the requested length plus destination alignment padding to a 16-byte boundary. Under those conditions, the PSP-assisted decrypt/encrypt operation can write past the end of the 4096-byte intermediate page buffer, and the subsequent memory copy into the same buffer can also overflow by up to 15 bytes. A representative trigger condition is a page-sized operation where the destination offset is nonzero, causing the rounded transfer size to exceed one page. The flaw affects the KVM_SEV_DBG_ENCRYPT ioctl path and results from insufficient validation of destination-page bounds for a single-page guest region.
