CVE-2026-64188 is a use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel Qualcomm RMNET networking driver. The flaw is in rmnet_dellink(), which removes an rmnet endpoint from an RCU-protected hash table with hlist_del_init_rcu() and then immediately frees the endpoint with kfree(). Lockless RCU readers in the receive path, including rmnet_rx_handler() and __rmnet_map_ingress_handler(), can still retain and dereference the endpoint after it has been freed. The stale access involves the endpoint's egress_dev pointer, which can be read after the backing kmalloc object has already been released. The issue can manifest during packet processing and was observed as a kernel page fault in the RMNET virtual network receive fixup path.
