CVE-2026-6464 is an inclusion-of-functionality-from-an-untrusted-control-sphere flaw in PostgreSQL psql. When an inline COPY FROM STDIN or \copy FROM STDIN operation fails before the server has indicated that it is ready to receive input rows, psql can mistakenly interpret subsequent inline COPY data rows as psql meta-commands rather than data. COPY FROM operations using a filename are not affected. A server administrator able to inject the requisite early error can thereby cause attacker-controlled data rows to be processed as psql commands.
