A denial-of-service vulnerability in Next.js affects versions 13.0.0 through 15.5.20 and 16.0.0 through 16.2.10. The issue occurs in applications using the App Router with at least one Server Action. Crafted requests targeting Server Action handling can trigger excessive CPU consumption within the application process, preventing that process from servicing additional requests. The flaw is associated with uncontrolled resource consumption and impacts availability rather than confidentiality or integrity.
