CVE-2026-64963 is a path traversal vulnerability in ATutor affecting at least version 2.2.4. When the AT_FORCE_GET_FILE configuration option is enabled, an authenticated user can traverse course file paths and access files belonging to other course directories outside the intended authorization boundary. The flaw results from insufficient restriction of user-controlled path input during course file retrieval, allowing access to unintended filesystem locations within the application’s course storage structure. Successful exploitation can expose files from other courses and reveal information about the underlying filesystem layout.
