CVE-2026-65592 is a stored DOM cross-site scripting vulnerability in n8n affecting versions before 1.123.64, before 2.29.8, and before 2.30.1. The flaw is in the Resource Locator component, which passes the workflow-persisted cachedResultUrl parameter to window.open() without validating the URL scheme. An attacker with workflow creation or editing privileges can store a malicious scheme such as javascript: in cachedResultUrl within a crafted workflow. When another user opens the workflow and interacts with external links, attacker-controlled JavaScript executes in the victim's browser in the context of the application.
