CVE-2026-65597 is a DOM-based cross-site scripting vulnerability in n8n affecting versions before 1.123.64, 2.x before 2.29.8, and before 2.30.1. The flaw is in the HTML preview functionality, which renders execution output into an iframe using srcdoc without applying the sandbox attribute. A sanitizer bypass allows attacker-controlled script to execute in the same-origin context as the editor. When a user opens the preview, the injected script runs within the authenticated application context and can interact with application functionality through the victim's browser session.
