A server-side request forgery vulnerability in JFrog Artifactory’s support for Terraform remote repositories allows an attacker to cause the Artifactory server to issue outbound HTTP requests to arbitrary destinations and return the response content. The flaw affects vulnerable self-managed Artifactory versions and can be exploited by an authenticated user; if anonymous access is enabled on the affected repository, exploitation may also be possible without authentication. The issue arises in the handling of Terraform remote repository requests, enabling misuse of the server as a proxy to reach attacker-chosen endpoints.
