CVE-2026-67279 is an improper enforcement of behavioral workflow flaw in MikroTik RouterOS SSH. Following a client-requested SSH rekey, affected servers can transition into the connection protocol even though user authentication has not been attempted or completed. An unauthenticated client can consequently open an SSH session channel and submit an exec request, which the server dispatches. The reachable command path permits creation, overwriting, and reconstruction of files in the RouterOS-managed file namespace, including configuration and diagnostic support files.
