CVE-2026-67595 is a supply-chain style compromise affecting VaahCMS versions 2.0.0 through 2.3.4. A malicious obfuscated JavaScript payload was embedded in the Blade template used to render security OTP emails. When the affected template is rendered in a browser environment with JavaScript enabled, the injected code executes in the client context and initiates attacker-controlled behavior. Reported functionality includes establishing a WebSocket connection to a hardcoded command-and-control service, installing a password-field keylogger using MutationObserver to capture dynamically added inputs, scraping WhatsApp Web DOM content, and accepting remote commands to redirect or overwrite the rendered page. The issue is classified as CWE-506 because the vulnerable software distribution contains embedded malicious code rather than an accidental implementation flaw.
