CVE-2026-68525 is an incorrect authorization flaw in Apache Tomcat FORM-based authentication. Following FORM authentication, Tomcat may redirect a requester in a manner that bypasses a method-specific security constraint. This can occur where an application configuration authorizes a user to access a resource with HTTP POST but denies access to that same resource with HTTP GET. Affected versions are Tomcat 11.0.0-M1 through 11.0.24, 10.1.0-M1 through 10.1.57, and 9.0.0.M1 through 9.0.120. End-of-life Tomcat 8.5.0 through 8.5.100 and 7.0.0 through 7.0.109 are also known to be affected.
