CVE-2026-68569 is an improper-authentication vulnerability in Apache Tomcat DataSourceRealm. Under certain authentication configurations, including CLIENT-CERT and SPNEGO, Tomcat can fail open when looking up the authenticated principal in the configured DataSourceRealm and authenticate the user even though no corresponding realm user exists. Affected versions are Tomcat 11.0.0-M1 through 11.0.24, 10.1.0-M1 through 10.1.57, and 9.0.0.M1 through 9.0.120. End-of-life Tomcat 8.5.0 through 8.5.100 and 7.0.0 through 7.0.109 are also known to be affected.
