CVE-2026-69152 is a denial-of-service vulnerability in the brace-expansion library. In versions before 1.1.18, 2.1.4, 3.0.6, and 5.0.9, the expand() function does not apply maxLength limits while constructing intermediate arrays for comma-separated alternatives or padded sequences. An attacker can supply crafted brace-expansion input that causes excessive intermediate allocation or CPU-intensive sequence processing. The flaw bypasses the prior mitigation for CVE-2026-14257.
