The flaw allows authentication to be bypassed through an alternate path or channel in the FGFM management workflow. Available reporting indicates that a remote attacker with a valid certificate can send specially crafted FGFM requests and impersonate a FortiGate device managed by FortiManager, resulting in improper access control.
