CVE-2026-70632 is a heap-based out-of-bounds write in FFmpeg's native GoPro CineForm HD (CFHD) decoder affecting versions 4.4 through versions before 9.0. In the transform-type-2 reconstruction path, cfhd_decode() does not enforce the required non-Bayer logical output-width invariant. Consequently, horiz_filter_clip() can write oversized 16-bit sample rows beyond the allocated output-frame buffer while processing a crafted AVI file during stream probing. The resulting heap corruption may permit overwrite of a live cleanup callback pointer.

A high-severity security vulnerability fixed through the FFmpeg 9.0.1 Fedora 45 update; no technical flaw details are provided.
Failure to enforce frame dimensions in CineForm HD decoding, causing heap-based out-of-bounds writes.
An FFmpeg CineForm HD decoder flaw in frame-dimension enforcement that can cause heap-based out-of-bounds writes.
An out-of-bounds heap write vulnerability in FFmpeg's native GoPro CineForm HD (CFHD) decoder. A crafted AVI file during stream probing can corrupt heap memory and may be escalated to arbitrary code execution via overwrite of a live cleanup callback pointer.
