CVE-2026-71479 is an integer overflow vulnerability in QuantumNous new-api, a large language model gateway and AI asset management system. In versions prior to 1.0.0-rc.18, multiple user-controlled billing and quota inputs, including image count, video timing values, token-related limits, audio duration, and billing-expression quantities, can overflow numeric conversions in quota calculation logic implemented in common/quota_math.go and related settlement paths. Because the affected code can mis-handle oversized values during charge computation, an attacker can cause a negative charge to be interpreted in a way that credits the account instead of debiting it. The flaw affects billing integrity rather than data confidentiality and is reachable through normal low-privilege usage of metered API functionality.
