CVE-2026-71987 is a critical OS command injection vulnerability in MSI Radix AXE6600 router firmware v781521. The flaw resides in the router's alg function, where attacker-controlled input is improperly neutralized before being incorporated into operating system commands. This allows specially crafted requests to cause arbitrary command execution on the device. The vulnerability is remotely exploitable over the network and does not require authentication or user interaction. Successful exploitation can result in execution of attacker-supplied commands with root privileges on the underlying system.
