CVE-2026-71988 is a critical OS command injection vulnerability affecting MSI Radix AXE6600 router firmware version v781521. The flaw is present in the portFw function, where insufficient neutralization of special elements in command input allows attacker-controlled data to be incorporated into operating system commands. The vulnerability is remotely exploitable through the alg function and can be triggered without authentication or user interaction. Successful exploitation enables arbitrary command execution on the router with root privileges, resulting in full compromise of the underlying system.
