CVE-2026-7313 is an insufficiently protected credentials vulnerability in Progress Sitefinity web services, specifically affecting the ServiceStack web services attack surface. It affects Sitefinity versions from 8.0.5700 through 13.3.7652. Under the vulnerable conditions, a remote attacker with valid authenticated back-end access can obtain plaintext credentials used by Sitefinity to connect to the Sitefinity Insight service. Exploitation is only possible when Sitefinity Insight integration is actively configured and the deployment uses a non-default site configuration. The issue exposes integration secrets in recoverable plaintext rather than adequately protecting them within the affected web service workflow.
