CVE-2026-73268 is an improper input-validation flaw in the cluster-curator-controller component of Red Hat Multicluster Engine for Kubernetes. The controller's CreateJob() function unmarshals the user-controlled ClusterCurator spec.install.overrideJob raw extension without adequately validating the supplied Kubernetes Job specification. An authorized tenant can therefore inject an arbitrary Job that is subsequently created and executed using the controller's elevated privileges.

A privilege-escalation and arbitrary-code-execution vulnerability in multicluster engine's cluster-curator-controller. An authorized tenant can inject an arbitrary Kubernetes Job specification that executes with elevated controller privileges, potentially exposing cluster-wide secrets.
An arbitrary job specification injection flaw in cluster-curator-controller of Red Hat multicluster engine for Kubernetes that can lead to arbitrary code execution, privilege escalation, and access to cluster-wide secrets.
A critical code injection and privilege escalation vulnerability in the cluster-curator-controller component of Red Hat Multicluster Engine for Kubernetes, caused by insufficient validation of the spec.install.overrideJob field, allowing arbitrary Job spec injection and elevated code execution.
