CVE-2026-74234 is a cross-site scripting vulnerability in Legora versions prior to 2026-08-14. The flaw is triggered when attacker-controlled Mermaid content is prefixed with a gray-matter JavaScript front-matter directive. During processing, the front-matter parser invokes eval() on the supplied directive before SVG sanitization is applied, allowing untrusted input to execute as JavaScript in the victim's browser. The issue affects rendering flows that process influenced Mermaid diagram content and results in script execution within the application's browser context.
