CVE-2026-7507 is a session fixation vulnerability in Keycloak's OIDC authentication flow, specifically involving the login-actions restart mechanism in the keycloak-services component. The flaw arises because the /login-actions/restart endpoint accepts and processes attacker-controlled authentication session handles without adequate CSRF validation and without verifying that the referenced authentication session belongs to the browser initiating the request. An unauthenticated attacker can pre-create an authentication session, embed its handle in a crafted restart link, and induce a victim to visit that link. If the victim already has an active Single Sign-On session with the same Keycloak instance, Keycloak can transparently rebind the authentication flow to the attacker-created session context and silently authenticate the victim into it. The attacker can then hijack the resulting required-action flow and perform actions on behalf of the victim, resulting in account takeover. The issue was fixed in Keycloak 26.6.2 and later.
