CVE-2026-77647 is a critical remote code execution vulnerability affecting SPIP versions prior to 4.4.20. The flaw allows unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary code over the network without user interaction. The issue is associated with incorrect identification of PHP opening blocks and with var_export mishandling certain edge cases involving the presence of a '<' character, creating conditions under which attacker-controlled input can be transformed into executable PHP code. The vulnerability was reported as exploited in the wild in August 2026.
