CVE-2026-77806 is an unauthenticated remote code execution vulnerability in SPIP affecting versions prior to 4.4.21. The flaw is caused by improper handling of the X-Spip-Filtre HTTP request header by the analyse_resultat_skel functionality, resulting in code injection. A remote attacker can send a crafted request that triggers execution of arbitrary code within the context of the SPIP application. The issue has been reported as exploited in the wild in August 2026.

Small Python repository containing two scripts targeting a SPIP web application endpoint. exp.py is the main exploit: it accepts a base URL and optional command, then sends a POST request to /spip.php with a crafted parameter containing injected PHP code that sets an X-Spip-Filtre header chain ending in system, while the POST body supplies the command (default: id). The script prints the full server response, indicating intended remote command execution. scan.py is a companion vulnerability checker: it sends a GET request to /spip.php with a randomized parameter name whose value injects PHP calling phpinfo(), then looks for phpinfo markers in the response and extracts disable_functions if present. Repository structure is minimal: LICENSE, a very short README, and the two Python scripts. No framework is used, no persistence or post-exploitation modules are present, and the code is a straightforward operational PoC for SPIP web RCE plus a basic scanner.
