CVE-2026-7814 is a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in pgAdmin 4 affecting the Browser Tree and Explain Visualizer modules. User-controlled PostgreSQL object names, including names for databases, schemas, tables, and columns, were rendered into DOM elements using innerHTML rather than a safe text-only sink. An attacker able to create or influence such object names could embed HTML or script-bearing markup that would later be stored and rendered by pgAdmin. When another pgAdmin user browsed the affected tree views or executed EXPLAIN against the malicious object, the injected markup could execute attacker-supplied JavaScript in that user's browser session. The issue was fixed by replacing innerHTML with textContent. Affected versions are pgAdmin 4 before 9.15.
